The HBCU Rugby Classic, taking place on March 30, 2019 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in partnership with AIME Mentoring and PeduL, would like to present the Hooded Scholar Scholarship.
This scholarship is being offered to minority college students and graduating high school seniors, from all over the United States a chance to become an AIME Mentor to help work for social change. The students who are selected for this scholarship will receive an all-expense paid trip from Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia, from February 19th – 26th, 2019. From there, the students will be given the knowledge to create their own mentorship programs on campus and help create new mentors right here in the USA.
The HBCU Rugby Classic looks to support the growth and development of social awareness and increase of community awareness for young leaders everywhere. Whether done through rugby, mentorship, or education, the HBCU Rugby Classic wants to assure that a progressing community is always the aim.
