HBCU Rugby Classic gets a boost from partnerships with Sheehy Auto Stores, DC Old Glory, and Young Glory

Washington, DC – Sheehy Auto Stores, DC Old Glory, and Young Glory have announced their partnership and sponsorship of the 5th annual HBCU Rugby Classic and Music Festival, set to take place at Howard University in Washington, DC on March 31 – April 2, 2023. The event will be hosted by Howard University Rugby.

The HBCU Rugby Classic and Music Festival is a premier event that brings together historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) from across the country to compete in a showcase of top-level rugby talent, while also featuring live music, food vendors, and more.

Young Glory and Old Glory DC have been significant in the development of Howard University Rugby program since its inception.

The organization is the official pathway of Old Glory DC and focuses on developing U19 and U23 Academy teams, coaching, and referee development.
