As we celebrate the accomplishments of black people in history, we want to provide some history of black people in rugby.
Errol George Tobias was the first black man to play rugby for the Springboks. Playing with the Springboks from 1980-1984, went on to open doors for other black rugby players, including Chester Williams who helped South Africa win the championship at the 1995 Rugby World Cup
