On May 1-2, 2021, in Baton Rouge, Louisana, the HBCU Rugby Classic and Music Festival will return for its third year.
The HBCU Rugby Classic and Music Festival is the premier rugby event that celebrates HBCU culture, Rugby culture and music. Started in 2018, the HBCU Rugby Classic has featured historically black colleges and universities that carry rugby programs, in an effort to bring awareness to the opportunities and advantages that rugby can have for HBCU’s.
Last year, the HBCU Rugby Classic had to be cancelled due to the development of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the event will return with new vigor and excitement, for teams and audience.
